Omg. Yes yes yes. This was a huge issue for me!! Always whining, complaining, despondent etc. I annoyed many with my cheerful disposition and sense of adventure.

That reminds me of my friend who went to get divorced and found out they were never legally married as the record was never mailed in. She was ecstatic. Her "husband" was very upset, as they'd had a child together and he was technically illegitimate.

The Special Talk this year. I already had learned TTATT and didn't want to go to the Memorial, but took my teenager in case her grandparents asked. Taster actually listening to the talk, I realized I couldn't do it anymore.

I'm Perfect, You're Doomed - a review
by Farkel in"i'm perfect, you're doomed" by kyria abrahams, 2009, touchstone.. if you want a way to get people out of that horrible cult, easily, quickly and expeditiously, then here is how to do that.. i can say with a vote of confidence that anyone who reads this book will never and i mean never become a dub.
dubs who read it (assuming they have at least one or two brain cells left) will run from their religion like flies on shit when you pour bleach on it and blow it up with dynamite.. toss away crisis of conscience, apocalypse delayed, 30 years a watchtower slave and all those other very nice books and read this one.
i read those and all the other ones.

Mindnumbed: I read the book. While amusing, I'd caution that it may not be appropriate for younger girls, depending on what you're comfortable with them reading. I agree with Shirley W's comment. The book had many amusing moments that I could relate to having grown up in JW world, but there were some admissions that indicated other issues outside of JW were at play for some of the rumored reckless decisions.
